What is Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (mHBOT)?

Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy is a non-invasive medical treatment that involves breathing 95% – 100% oxygen while under increased atmospheric pressure.

This process is achieved inside a tube-like chamber, where the pressure is two and a half times greater than the normal pressure in atmosphere.

Our mHBOT is 34” in diameter and 92” long with 1.3 ATA which is equivalent to 9-10 feet under the sea.

​How does mHBOT work?

When oxygen is under pressure, it acts like a drug, and has drug-like effects on the DNA and other components of each cell, bringing about permanent changes in the cell and surrounding tissue.

Numerous studies have shown that mHBOT can stimulate genes to produce growth and repair hormones simultaneously with stem cells acting as a stimulus to tissue regeneration.

How do I prepare for mHBOT?

The duration of the session is anywhere from 65min – 70 min. long. Pressurization and depressurization takes about 6 – 10 minutes. And when the gauge shows 4.1psi the 60min. session starts.

Please dress comfortably because the temperature in the chamber is higher by 2 degrees than in the room. We do provide small portable hand fans and a cooling mat. If you are on the cooler side, we do offer a blanket.

We allow electronics, books, and water into the chamber.
